What are Testosterone Pellets?

Testosterone pellets are a form of hormone replacement therapy. They are about the size of a grain of rice, implanted under the skin.

How Testosterone Pellets Work

Testosterone pellets work by emitting a steady, low level of testosterone over a period of several months. generally about 6 months in most patients.

Dr. Thampoe will implant the pellets under the skin, or subcutaneously, near the hip or on the buttocks. This procedure is quick and can take place at Katy Medi Spa.

Testosterone pellets increase lean body mass (muscle strength, bone density) and decrease fat mass. Men and women need adequate levels of testosterone for optimal mental and physical health and for the prevention of chronic illnesses like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, which have been associated with low testosterone levels.
